ChaosphereThe Axia Project, 2003-2004I'd appreciate it if you could let me know if there are any errors or crashes. 2004.03.27 Features!! * The NavPoint system has been implemented. * Press and hold Tab for the NavMap. * Enemies now only spawn at NavPoints. * The enemy-spawn button (keypad2) now spawns enemies directly around you (no more looking around). * (Code): Complete rewrite of collision detection (==faster). * A new enemy ship (does nothing new, but a new thing to look at). 2004.03.24 Okay, I've added another set of speech for the enemies, so that's there. * More photos. * Enemies taunt back. * MP3 support again. 2004.03.22 A couple fixes and a few tiny adds. * The Comm system now sports some photos to throw back and forth between targets. * Fixed a bug with the targeting arrow for planets. * Comm system patched up. * Complete re-dubbing (yes, you are getting the sounds, and yes, that's why it's bigger). 2004.03.21 The Comm system is working pretty well. You can land on two 'planets' now, and take off, AND end up in the right places each time :) What else...? Well, there are some new voices, but they'll be replaced very soon. The Shield & Armor meters have been scrapped in favor of two orb-like things that really do the job better. 2004.03.17 The music's been remastered as OGG and the audio directories are all different now. The Comm System is in the works, so check it out. 2004.03.13 Okay, sounds and music have been revamped a bit. We now feature some music by a local band called Highland East. Let's give 'em a round of applause. Also, the player-death is a lot better, and we finally--finally--have some semblance of a planet-side portion of the gameplay.
Most Recent Stuff Binaries ('Executables') :: Newest (2004.03.27) So, what to get? Grab the 'binary.windows.zip' one. Extract it to some directory (make a new one), and BOOM. You'll definitely want to hear the awesome voice-acting, so grab the 'audio.comm' file, too (extract it to the same folder). (If you want music, then get the music supplement pack and put it in the same folder as before). Binary (ZIP'ed) (2004.03.27) [about 7MB]; Extract this to some directory such as 'Axia'.
